Problem with pimple on testicles?

i had what looked like a pimple on my testicles, so i tried to pop it but i did not work. i had it for 4 days already. it might also have been something else, i shave down there so it could have been something brought on by that. i am sexually active but i do not think its anything related to that. when i popped it with a safety pin (i Sterilized it) it was a clear liquid mixed with blood. it was hard and kind of hurt so that was my reason for popping it. can anyone tell me what it was?

Small fluid filled bump on pointer finger ?

A few months ago I noticed that there were a little bigger than Needle head sized bumps on my hand right hand. My pointer finger then starts to become itchy. When I itch it I get a reddish bump on my pointer finger that looks like a blister. It goes away and comes back a lot. Yesterday I popped it with a sterilized needle and light pink fluid came out. I think you should talk to him and tell him how much his behaviour is upsettig you. I understand how frustrating OCD can be; I have it myself- i constantly wash my hands, have to check things various times and i overthink things so much to the point it drives me insane. i know many other people who had OCD, all in different forms for instance my mother has OCD about cleaning and tidiness and it pisses me off so much!! I think everyone has OCD, but in different forms. I think you should talk to him, tell him how upset you are and maybe suggest he go to cognitive behavioural therapy for his OCD, I havent tried it, but I hear it helps. I popped a blister and now I think its infected?

Look for cream in shops as they have anti-inflaming cream to make the skin less tender. You could use blister plaster and just make sure it doesn't get redder or more inflamed. If it gets worse visit your doctor. Could be infected or its just got rubbed and so has inflamed up because its on your hand and if using hand it may have agitated it.

How to win back my Ex-Fiance?

I am looking for any advice on how to win my ex fiance back. He broke up with me 2 days ago and it is destroying me inside. A little side history. We have known each other since we were 8. We started dating a little over a year ago now. He is in Nuclear Power training which is considered to be the 3rd hardest military program in the country I believe. (he is in the U.S. Navy). Questions about sterilizing nipples and pacifiers?

I have 19 days til my scheduled C-section, this is my 2nd child. But with my first I had to do this after we got home from hospital, cause at 38 weeks check-up i was sent to hospital and induced for high blood pressure(ended up with C-section after 38 hours of active labor and not dilating past 3cm). And I didn't have the bottles, nipples, or pacifiers sterilized....With this child, we are using the Playtex Drop Ins. And I was just wondering if it was okay to go ahead and sterilize the nipples and pacifiers within the next week or if I should wait til the night before we go into the hospital for C-section. Need a guys perspective, why did he lose interest and how to get it back?

How do I get him interested again and what went wrong? I've been casually dating someone for about six mounts. I haven't had sex with him yet. Don't drink out of their water dishes, wash your hands after handling them or your neck for that matter, and clean out the sink if they have bathed there. I have worked with many species of reptiles, wild and captive, for decades without ever getting sick (knock on wood.) Happy herp keeping.

Did I make a good choice with my college?

It's not always the school...it's what you make of it. You made a wise choice if you visited them both, talked to current students/counselors. and chose the one that felt more like home to you. They are both good schools though. Emory is a little better, but you're in Baylor's honors college so it shouldn't be of much difference when applying to medical school. A college that feels like home is a must, especially if you're pre-med. Good Luck with college!

You should go to whatever college best suits what you want your major to be. I mean, with that SAT you could easily get into a prestigious school. You could consider Jesuit schools like Georgetown or Creighton. It doesn't really matter what college your degree is from. What matters is that you get an education best suited to your career preference. If Baylor seems to have a better program for your major, then it would be best to go there. Just because Emory is a higher ranked college doesn't mean it's the best school for you.

Is my piercing irritated or infected?

I pierced my ear the other day, on the lobe where it starts to turn to cartilage. I did it myself, with a professional needle and sterilized it good (I've done the other two piercings on my lobes myself, and have had absolutely no problems. I am on probation for a non violent, white color crime. I recently discovered what feels like a very hard bump under the skin of my left arm. Ok what you are about to read is what i think of todays teens. I am 16 myself and i am ashamed to be at this age for these reasons. 99% of teenagers are like sheep. I think you should choose Emory. It's the most expensive, but you'll probably get the best education there so it's worth it. You'll also probably be more likely to get a good job or into a decent grad school after you graduate. It also seems like you will have a good social life, which is very important.

Would a 680 on SAT II US History hurt my application?

I received my Subject SAT scores and saw that I got a 680 on US History. My Chemistry score was a 760 so it's not as bad. I also want to take the Literature and Math Subject Tests in October. I'm quite confident about Math but I'm not sure about Lit...I want to major in Chemistry, Biology, or Pre-med (overall the science fields) I plan to apply for Emory and Rice University so would this 680 in USH hurt me? Retaking would be inconvenient in my schedule but if I really have to I will. And is it possible if I choose to send all my other 3 scores and not send USH?

Assuming they were picked with vinegar and salt, and the fact that they were refrigerated for only 2 weeks, there's no opportunity for bacteria to grow unchecked. The acidity added is the key for the pickling to be effective for refrigerated low-acid veggies. 3 minutes boiling should've been sufficient to kill enough of the bacteria and deactivate the enzymes to be safe under refrigeration that long. I would personally eat the beans, and I'm ultrasafe when it comes to food safety.

Private college vs Public College?

Im wondering about going to either Emory University or University of Georgia. I personally value the quality my education and I have heard that Emory is a better school. But in my opinion facts are facts and wherever you go to school you will get the same education. I like bigger classrooms anyways so I seem to like UGA more and I think Emory is is a too much money. However, I want to be a neurosurgeon and was going to major in Neuroscience. Emory has it and UGA doesn't. Could I still be a good doctor majoring in Biology, Chemistry, or Biochemistry at UGA or Neuroscience at Emory and am I correct that I will get the same quality of education at UGA than at Emory.

It looks fabulous on your resume and it may ultimately earn you some college credit! :D Try to get 200+ on your PSATs during junior year. I know it doesn't really count for much, but you may earn National Merit Scholar and it looks good for your college application. As for your SATs, try to break 2000. I feel that 2000 is such a huge step over 1990 even though it's only a 10 point difference. Don't forget your SAT IIs! I can only speak for the Ivies, but you should try to get three SAT IIs. Work hard, keep up your grades, and good luck. :)

Emory is one of those schools where you need to be more than just an awesome student. Everyone who applies has excellent grades and scores. First of all, you should improve the ACT score to AT LEAST a 30. You should try having leadership positions in your extracurricular activities, and try to distinguish yourself by emphasizing any extracurriculars that you think are interesting. Don't get too attached to Emory though. I feel this is a problem many students have- they get attached to one school and don't consider the other thousands of schools in America. Emory is so competitive that admissions is actually against most people. If you want to stay in the south, look at other excellent schools like Wake Forest, UNC Chapel Hill, Tulane, and Duke (even harder than Emory).

Trying to decide if I should get another Cocktiel?

We unexpectedly rescued a cockatiel from a tree outside my work almost 2 years ago. We put ads out but no one claimed him so instead of taking him to a shelter we decided to keep him & named him Harley. Did alot of research when we got him because I've never had one before and since then we have become to love him to death. His previous owner must have been kind to him because he is mostly hand tamed and loves to be out of his cage, however, he doesn't get out of his cage as much as he used to due to our schedules and us already having 4 dogs so we need to have Harley in a separate room when we do take him out. My husband is at home most of the day so Harley does get at least an hour out a day and on the weekends I spend at least an hour a day with him. We also put him in our living room during the day and in our bedroom at night so he is always in our sight and we also communicate with him throughout the day as much as we can. However, sometime I feel guilty that he is still not getting enough time out of his cage. When he is out, he doesn't really explore. He pretty much stays on our shoulders but lately he is not wanting to go back into his cage when its time. I do not know if he came from a home with another bird or not. Me and my husband have contemplated getting another one for about a year now but are torn. I have read that if you have 2 birds, then they will bond more with each other than with you. We certainly don't want that. However, if we did get another would it be acceptable to permanently keep them in separate cages. I really don't want to house them together. I don't mind the extra cleaning work, but what if we put their cages side by side and they seem to get along and then get frustrated because they can't have contact with each other. I am in a difficult situation. I am a new graduate lucky enough to find a fantastic job in my industry. I am a young single female in a work environment dominated by older men. Hello. To start off, I'm 14 years old and I want my belly button pierced really badly. I used to be over 160 pounds, and I dieted to the point that I'm now at a healthy weight for my age and height, - about 125 pounds. My motivation was that I would; A: be able to wear a bikini for the first time in my life and B: be able to get my belly button pierced. Let me get this straight right now, I am NOT some little trashy whore that wants to run around with my tummy hanging out all of the time. I merely got sick of being the ONLY teenage girl on the beach in a tankini covering my whole stomach. And I don't know why, but I've always thought that belly rings were the cutest little things. My mom knew that my goal in losing that weight was obviously to be healthier, but I really wanted to have a reasonable body, and be able to go out on the beach in a bikini. Around my birthday (December), my mom's best friend offered to take me to get it done where she had, and one of her friends works there. My dad was fine with it and told her to just take me, even if my mom said no. My mom's friend wouldn't do that to her best friend, so she talked to my mom more and more about it and she eventually (according to my dad) said that she'd let her take me to get it done. I backed out last minute because I was too self conscious at the time to show my stomach anyways. Now, I've toned my stomach up more and my mom has taken me out to buy like three different bikinis. Being conservative or whatever is NOT the issue with her. I recently brought the idea across my mom again that I'd love to get my belly button done before our vacation to Florida this August. She shot it right down and screamed at me about it. I have no idea why. Earlier this year, she didn't even want me to get second holes in my ear. She refused to let me. I, being the rebel child that I am (when I have to be..), sterilized a needle and some old earrings and did it myself. She ended up thinking it was cute and I wasn't punished at all. Question about brand new ear piercing?

I just got my ear pierced two days ago, the piercing is located about halfway up the side of my ear, like just before the cartilage begins. There's absolutely nothing wrong with using the word great when talking. Now if you were writing an essay then you would need better vocabulary. Trust me nobody wants to talk to people who keep on using SAT vocabulary that nobody even knows. That would be boring. Should I be a Physician Assistant or Doctor?

I am currently a junior in college and I have a 3.25, I was pre-med but recently switched to pre-PA because I thought it may be easier/quicker and I want to have kids so it seems like a better option? I've taken a year of general chemistry w/ labs, a year of biology w labs, ochem 1 w/ lab, and I am taking biochem this summer. The only thing I haven't taken that I would need for the MCAT is physics 1 and 2 and ochem 2, but I don't need that for PA school. However, on a lot of the web sites (I am looking into Emory, Mercer, and Medical College of GA) it says you need at least 2000 hours of hands-on patient care, which I don't have and I don't know how I will get that many hours while being in college, because hands-on patient care means a nursing assistant, phlebotomist, or something that requires additional schooling. I don't know exactly what specialty I would choose, but I am interested in Dermatology and I am just wondering if anyone on here is a PA or a doctor that could tell me which one sounds like a better option for me and/or if they are happy with their decision? You will probably get a full ride to all the school you apply to. Even if you totally bomb junior year,which I don't think you will,you still have a good shot at all these colleges. Also,the real SAT is way harder than the PSAT,so don't expect it to be super easy and get a 2200. You'll probably get about 100 points lower than your PSAT score.

My best friend is addicted to her new BlackBerry (the phone) and it's starting to get on my nerves. You have a great background, and IB will really help you, but I would recommend retaking the SAT. That is a HUGE determininng factor of getting admitted (esp. at Emory and Wake). If you can boost that up I would say you have a fantastic shot of getting in.

Help! I can't tell my Mum?

I'm not allowed to stretch my ears and I'm not really allowed out so I only really get dinner money on a weekly basis. I stretched my ear a few months ago to 2mm before with no problems, but then I got bored of it and let it shrink back down. Now I want to stretch again so I gave my friend who goes by the market on the way home some money and she got me a 3mm stretcher. I was in a very good Italian restaurant today and was horrified to watch how the bartender wash the wine/water glasses. They had two sinks one filled with soapy water and one with clean water, and whenever the dirty glasses came in, the bartender just dunked them in the soapy water and shook them a bit, then plunge them in the clean water and shook and rinsed a few seconds and put them back up on the tray for the next customer who order the drinks. Should I quit my internship?

I’m currently and intern for a small Web design company/ Social marketing firm I have just completed my first week at the company and I have to complete more than 120 hours to get credit from my college. The problem is that I’m not really learning anything and I feel more like a secretary than an intern my program is Business management but I have not done anything this week that has given me experience to learn how a business is run. The owner of this business recently went on vacation to Cancun so we only communicate by email. While’s he’s on vacation he want me to run errands to other business to pick up credit card information. Like I have said I’m more like his personal secretary than an intern. Also he wants me to keep him updated each day on the progress in the office I guess he wants me to keep an eye on everyone while he’s gone. It’s too late in the summer for me to find a new internship and I need to have this internship completed by 8/9/2011 to graduate on time with my degree any advice on what I should do? By the way this is an unpaid internship and he requires me to put in at least 30 hours a week at his company. The problem is that I work full time second shift for my real job so I intern in the morning and work in the afternoon I’m exhausted. Should I continue with this internship or try and find a new internship? I’m in Michigan.

Im working on my application to undergrad business school for a degree in finance accounting or economics. I know that in bussiness pedigree is very important but unfortunately money is somewhat tight and I don't know if im really ready to go away. As a result I feel that I will do better in my state school of UF or at university of miami which will probably give me a good scholarship plus I can live at home further lowering expenses. I could probably get into Stern in new York or UVA or emory but I think I will end up doing worse at these schools because of stress about money and homesickness. So basically my question is am I better off in the bussiness world as an excellent student at a mediocre school or a mediocre student at an excellent school. Plus I want to work in florida so the alumni base is probably larger than at an out of state school. It really all depends on your preference...if you think it is worth saving an extra 2k to transfer than do that, but if you want the prestige of going to Emory, stay there. Lexmark X4690 won't work via wireless connection?

As one of the popularly used Lexmark printer, I bought the Lexmark X4690 initially for the wireless capabilities. However, after following the instructions on the installing DVD, the printer worked via USB just not via wireless connection. Wow! For being just a sophomore you have got quite a resume. Ignore the other students, you're living in a microcosm of overachievers, if I may say so. That's just not normal in most areas, only in hyper competitive parent driven enviroments. I'm about to graduate from a good, but not great public high school, but my friend- much lower grades and test scores than you, was accepted at U of R and UCLA. and I"m sure you'd be a shoo-in for those schools, Northwester, Boston, and RIT. I'm not very familiar with your more southern schools but I know Emory is more prestigious, but i still believe you'd have a great shot. PLEASE don't work yourself too hard or be scared!! You're under so much pressure that if you're not careful, you won't *enjoy* your youth! Make sure you have some fun too, and don't worry. From all the hard work you've put into your studies, I can tell you'll be successful where ever you end up- and trust me you will be happy at whatever great school you'll end up at. I went through a lot of stress about college and honestly, it was all for nothing, in the end it's important to enjoy yourself. However I think it would be better if people who wanted to own pit bulls were required to attend approved trainers/training facilities or an educational class. Almost 3 year old not talking?

What is you schools max GPA? If it is 4.0 then your GPA is pretty good. If it is 5.0 then that definitely needs to go up. The SAT score definitely needs to go up if you want to get into Duke. You have a lot of extracurricular activities and community service, which definitely helps. Take as many AP courses as you can, colleges love those and you get some credit for them as well. If you can raise your SAT then you can definitely get into at least half of your top five.

My friend goes to a top 20 university, I do not, will he end up being more successful than me in life?

Probably. But there is a lot more to life than being educated at a prestigious school. Besides, you are only in pre-med. It is still possible to get into Johns Hopkins or Northwestern Medical School, if you kick butt at Georgia Southern.

I have known my best friend since February and we've been best friends for about 2/3 months now. I know that's not that long :L but it actually feels like a lifetime! I've been casually dating someone for about six mounts. I haven't had sex with him but we hook up. In the US, once you turn 18 your an adult and you can become independent from your parents. It will be difficult because you will have to make money on your own, pay your own bills, find room/board and support yourself. It would be tough without their help but it's certainly possible.

Some people just really overreact.
