When did you stop sterilising bottles?

Baby bottles should be steralized the first time that you use them then they don't need to be afterwards. I you are formula feeding your child and using powdered formula the formula is not sterile so there is no point to steralize the bottles because it is the formula that would carry the bacteria and by steralizing the bottle it will not kill the bacteria in the bottle. This is why water should be boiled and then the formula added to it and cooled before given to the child to kill off any bacteria that was in the formula.
