Can you have an early menopause at 35 after sterilisation?

I was sterilised about 2 and a half years ago. I am now 35. Recently...the last 3 weeks, i have been having terrible hot flushes!! To the extent i feel like im going to pass out!! Then, after stripping off, i find im freezing!! Does anyone thin i could be starting the menopause early??
