Lexmark X4690 won't work via wireless connection?

As one of the popularly used Lexmark printer, I bought the Lexmark X4690 initially for the wireless capabilities. However, after following the instructions on the installing DVD, the printer worked via USB just not via wireless connection. When I try to get the wireless printing, it always gets an error saying it can't communicate with the printer. Anyone have any suggestions on how to get the wireless printing up and running?
