Will I get HIV ? Or an infection?

Okay I know this sounds dumb but I heard insterilized needles can give u HIV.. Well I had this splinter in my toe for months so I decided to see if I could get it out .. I the bottom of my big toe.. But my stupid self forgot to sterilize it.. So I took a sewing needle and just picked at the skin there n tried stockin it in a little to get it out . I didn't but now in scared I did something!
