Am I on the right track to these colleges? Any help?

Wow! For being just a sophomore you have got quite a resume. Ignore the other students, you're living in a microcosm of overachievers, if I may say so. That's just not normal in most areas, only in hyper competitive parent driven enviroments. I'm about to graduate from a good, but not great public high school, but my friend- much lower grades and test scores than you, was accepted at U of R and UCLA. and I"m sure you'd be a shoo-in for those schools, Northwester, Boston, and RIT. I'm not very familiar with your more southern schools but I know Emory is more prestigious, but i still believe you'd have a great shot. PLEASE don't work yourself too hard or be scared!! You're under so much pressure that if you're not careful, you won't *enjoy* your youth! Make sure you have some fun too, and don't worry. From all the hard work you've put into your studies, I can tell you'll be successful where ever you end up- and trust me you will be happy at whatever great school you'll end up at. I went through a lot of stress about college and honestly, it was all for nothing, in the end it's important to enjoy yourself. Excuse my long response, I just don't want another kid to burn out over college.
