What is dorm life like? Such as the the ones at UCB,emory, NYU, or any college you attended in general?

I would really avoid dorms. Back in the 70's they were pretty good. Now they are really really bad. My daughter first quarter signed up for a dorm room and it was a 3 person closet and each girl had a boy in her bed when ever my daughter was in there. She right away moved out and in an apartment. I really warn you that if your a conservative person not to do this at all. If you must try it get in a sober dorm and a christian one. Universities have lots of cheap activites like sail boat renting, ski trips, theatre discounts. Much of your time is studying. If you plan on working that is a bummer because there is little time for that. My daughter was a lifeguard/swim instructor pt.
