Can you switch the position of a belly button ring on the first day you got it?

I never had my belly button pierced, but did get my lip done and had plenty of friends that had many others done...its all the same, it should be in for atleast a wk..make sure u sterilize it and all, den u should be able to trade it off to whatever bellybutton ri g of your choice.
